Hyper Beam

Hyper Beam is earned by completing the Caves with a Mage cat. This unlocks the Hyper Beam active ability, a charged magic attack that costs only 3 mana but deals a massive 25 magic damage. You target a tile, then at the start of your next turn, the beam fires on that location. The delay means you need to predict enemy movement or pair it with crowd control to keep targets in place. Despite the windup, 25 damage for 3 mana is one of the best damage-per-mana ratios in the game. A reference to the iconic Pokemon move of the same name.
