Send the Mystery Man a cumulative total of 11 dead cats to unlock the second organ grinder upgrade. This requires 10 more dead cats after the first upgrade and improves the amount of resources he can recover from failed runs. Dead cats accumulate naturally as you play, especially on harder difficulties. Each upgrade tier means less progress is lost when a run goes wrong.
