A demonic familiar spawned when a cat with the Cambion Conception ability is downed. Resembling a smaller, darker version of Hyde, the Demon Kitten tears into enemies with a multi-hit melee attack, continuing the fight after its parent cat has fallen.
The Demon Kitten activates on a death trigger, making it a form of insurance: you lose a cat but gain a demonic replacement that keeps fighting in its place. This mechanic suits aggressive builds where downing one cat to spawn a demon is an acceptable trade, especially if the cat that triggers it was already weakened.
Cambion Conception builds that deliberately put cats in harm's way can treat the Demon Kitten as a planned followup attacker. If the downed cat was a sacrificial unit with no other purpose, the Demon Kitten converts that loss into additional offensive pressure. Combine with resurrection abilities to get the best of both worlds: a revived cat and the demon it spawned.
