The Intruder

The Intruder is a familiar that appears uninvited on the battlefield, fighting alongside whichever cat triggered its arrival. Its exact summoning conditions are tied to specific items or abilities, and it joins the fight as an unexpected but welcome ally.

Like all familiars in Mewgenics, The Intruder acts independently on the battlefield — moving toward enemies, attacking on its own turn, and drawing fire that might otherwise target your cats. Its name implies it enters the battle without being formally summoned, perhaps triggered by an environmental condition or passive effect.

Any familiar that appears without consuming mana or items is pure upside. The Intruder's unplanned nature makes it a bonus body on the field — even if it falls quickly, it can absorb an attack or distract an enemy long enough for your cats to secure a victory.
