Club

A crude wooden club used by Cave Cats, available via the wp_CaveCatClub weapon ability. A prehistoric melee weapon that deals blunt physical damage in close range. When obtained as loot, it gives cats access to the same heavy bludgeoning strike that Cave Cat enemies wield — a basic but functional melee option for cats who find themselves without a weapon slot filled.

The Club's wp_CaveCatClub ability is a straightforward physical melee strike. Without innate stat bonuses, the Club's damage output is entirely dependent on the wielder's STR stat. It deals blunt-type damage, which may interact with armor or resistance values differently than sharp or elemental attacks.

The Club is a situational pickup rather than a goal. STR-heavy cats who haven't found a better weapon can use it to fill the weapon slot and keep applying physical pressure. It's more useful early in a run than late, where better weapon options will generally outclass it. Its value drops steeply on INT or DEX builds that don't synergize with raw blunt damage.
