Simple in concept but potentially run-defining — if your initial choices are poor fits for your current build, the D6 gives you a second roll to land something better. Since level-up abilities can dramatically shape a cat's combat role, a single reroll at the right moment can redirect an entire run.

The D6 activates once per level-up, replacing your current set of ability choices with a completely new random selection. This doesn't guarantee a better outcome — you could reroll into equally weak options — but it doubles your chances of seeing a specific desired ability. The value scales with how strong the ability pool is for your current class and build direction. Knowing which abilities you want before you reroll is key to judging whether to use it immediately or hold off.

Best used when a level-up presents three clearly mismatched abilities — for example, if your melee-focused cat gets three ranged or magic options. Save it for a level where getting the right ability matters most, such as a key mid-run power spike or before a boss fight. Cats with wider ability pools benefit more from rerolling than those with narrow class-specific options. Multiple D6 trinkets can chain rerolls on a single level-up, which is genuinely powerful in ability-dependent builds.
