Common head armor from the Fatty set. Grants Brace and adds a status effect to basic attacks. The head piece of the Fatty set completes the trio with the Necklace and Mask, stacking Brace across all three armor slots for consistent damage reduction. The status-on-attack adds a passive debuffing layer to every swing, making the wearer a steady source of both durability and on-hit pressure.

Head armor is the most coveted slot and often holds the strongest individual items in a run. The Fatty Hat trades peak ceiling for reliable passive package coverage, giving Brace and AddStatusToBasicAttack without needing to find or afford rarer pieces. The Brace passive is particularly valuable in the head slot because it stacks with the same passive from the Mask and Necklace, tripling the mitigation effect from a common three-piece set.

The head slot represents a real opportunity cost when equipping the Fatty Hat rather than a rarer alternative, so only commit to it if the full Fatty set (Necklace, Mask, Hat) is already assembled or within reach. In runs where rarer headwear is unavailable, the Fatty Hat outperforms many other common-rarity hat options. Particularly effective on high-frequency basic attacker builds that land many hits per round, maximizing AddStatusToBasicAttack procs.
