Glass Cannon

Glass Cannon (rare) is the upgraded weapon earned by completing the Glass Cannon sidequest. It shoots a glass ball at infinite range, converting tiles to Glass on impact — without flooding the entire map at battle start. This makes it a precise, high-range terrain-shaping tool: lay down Glass Tiles exactly where needed rather than everywhere at once. Pairs well with builds that exploit the Glass element or brittle terrain mechanics.

Glass Tiles interact with movement, elements, and possibly shattering mechanics in Mewgenics. Placing them precisely allows you to create specific zones of glass terrain — for example, blocking paths, creating surfaces that interact with the Glass element, or setting up brittle ground for abilities that detonate or shatter Glass Tiles. Infinite range means you can safely shape the battlefield from anywhere without exposing the wielder to danger.

Glass Cannon (rare) is most powerful in builds that have abilities, passives, or items that specifically exploit Glass Tiles. If your run has no Glass synergies, the terrain shaping is still useful as an obstacle placer or zone denier. Equip it on a backline cat who can safely fire from range each turn. Compared to the sidequest version, the rare form is purely better — same glass-laying function but with controlled, targeted placement instead of a map-wide flood.
