Grip Trainer is a rare trinket or weapon that strengthens the wielder's grasp, boosting STR or improving weapon use efficiency. Repeated use trains the cat's grip strength, potentially providing stacking benefits or improving the performance of other held weapons.

A STR boost from the Grip Trainer directly increases melee damage output for STR-scaling weapons, making it a passive damage amplifier when equipped alongside heavy melee weapons. The training aspect may also reduce the chance of weapon fumbles or durability loss, preserving weapon uses for longer. Any interaction with grappling or throwing abilities would be amplified by improved grip strength.

Grip Trainer pairs naturally with STR-based melee builds running heavy weapons like the Heavy Mace, Manhole Cover, or Steel Ball.
