At very rare rarity the dodge bonus is likely substantial — enough to meaningfully shift how often your cat avoids incoming attacks. Stacks with other dodge sources and synergizes with on-dodge trigger effects like those from Tiny Pebble. Excellent for evasion-focused builds that want to avoid damage rather than absorb it.

Dodge chance in Mewgenics represents the probability of avoiding an incoming hit entirely, dealing zero damage for that attack. High dodge builds create effective health multipliers: if 40% of attacks miss, the cat takes 40% less total damage over time without any armor or HP investment. Liquid Metal's dodge bonus stacks additively or multiplicatively with other sources depending on the implementation. Items that trigger on successful dodges, such as those that counter-attack or apply status when a hit is avoided, multiply Liquid Metal's value by converting every dodge into an offensive return.

Liquid Metal is a flagship trinket for DEX-heavy evasion builds. Combine with DEX-boosting items and mutations to push dodge chance as high as possible, then layer on-dodge-trigger items to convert misses into counterattacks or status applications. Against enemies that attack many times per round, each percentage point of dodge chance has outsized value. For tanky builds that rely on absorbing hits rather than avoiding them, the dodge bonus still reduces total damage taken but contributes less than it would for a dedicated evasion cat.
