Me Stone

Me Stone is a sidequest trinket from the Rock item set that makes the wearer the sole recipient of all level-up rewards — including those that other cats would normally earn. The cat is always selected for level up and can even gain levels while downed. This hyper-focuses development into one cat at the expense of the rest of the team. Complete the sidequest to earn the Suck Stone, which replaces the greedy level-up monopoly with an end-of-turn mana drain effect.

The level-up monopoly means the Me Stone wearer levels up extremely fast while all other cats are level-starved. This can create a single extraordinarily powerful cat surrounded by weaker teammates, which is a viable but risky strategy — if the powerhouse falls, the rest of the team is underleveled. The ability to level while downed is a unique benefit that allows passive experience gain even without action.

Me Stone is best equipped on the run's most important cat — the one whose stats and abilities matter most to the team's success. A Monk, Psychic, or other scaling class that benefits enormously from high stats gains tremendous value from the accelerated leveling. Complete the sidequest to earn the Suck Stone and distribute level-up rewards normally again. The transition should happen before the level disparity between your me-stone cat and the rest becomes irreversible.
