The accuracy guarantee is quietly powerful — certain enemies apply hit penalties and some status effects reduce accuracy, but the Monocle makes all of that irrelevant for physical strikes. Good insurance on cats who can't afford to whiff their attacks.

Physical attacks include melee weapon strikes and unarmed basic attacks but exclude ranged and spell-type damage — for those, Third Eye and Spoon Bender provide equivalent coverage in their respective categories. The +1 CHA bonus is minor but free, making the Monocle slightly more versatile than a pure accuracy item by also contributing to social interactions.

Most valuable on cats whose primary offense is melee-physical and who carry powerful on-hit effects — the Monocle guarantees those effects land on every swing. In the late game where enemy evasion becomes more common, the Monocle's accuracy guarantee is worth more than it might seem in the early game when enemies rarely dodge.
