Persuasion Device

A side quest item from Dr. Beanies that permanently charms any non-boss enemy once per battle — the target joins your party as a familiar and fights alongside you for the rest of the run as long as they survive. The -2 Speed penalty is a real cost, but the ability to permanently recruit any enemy you can target is uniquely powerful for expanding your roster mid-run. Does not apply the standard Charmed status effect despite the name. Take it to the Boneyard to progress the associated side quest.
