Small Meteor

Small Meteor is a rare throwable weapon, a chunk of space rock that still retains heat from its atmospheric entry. It deals fire or physical damage on impact and may set terrain ablaze, creating lasting fire hazards in the area of impact.

Thrown meteor weapons deal respectable damage on direct hit and can start fires that deal ongoing damage to any enemy who walks through them. The fire terrain created by Small Meteor persists for multiple turns, turning the impact zone into a hazardous area. Fire-element items and abilities that benefit from burning terrain amplify the indirect damage.

Small Meteor pairs naturally with fire-based builds and Pyromancer-style classes that want to blanket the battlefield in flames. The terrain fire can funnel enemy movement, forcing enemies away from burning tiles and into chokepoints. Cats with fire immunity can walk freely through the fire patches created by Small Meteor, enabling aggressive plays that other cats can't safely execute.
