A face parasite that feeds on the dying energy of fallen enemies, granting a surge with each kill. Soul Sucker costs CON -1 but triggers a status effect via StatusOnKillEnemy every time the wearer delivers a killing blow, compounding its benefit through combat as more enemies fall. In fights with multiple enemies, this turns kill streaks into stacked bonuses, rewarding aggressive kills-focused play. Strongest on cats who can guarantee kills rather than just deal damage.

StatusOnKillEnemy fires only when the wearer lands the final blow, not on any hit. This means Soul Sucker rewards cats positioned as finishers — those who frequently deal the last point of damage to enemies. In a party where one cat focuses on weakening enemies and another delivers killing blows, Soul Sucker should go on the designated finisher. The status may stack multiple times per fight, especially in large enemy group encounters.

Soul Sucker is ideal for Muggers, high-DEX cats with precise strike abilities, or any build that can reliably execute weakened targets. It scales with encounter density — in fights with 5-6 enemies, a skilled finisher cat can trigger 4-5 kill procs per fight for significant stacking. Compare it against other kill-based trinkets and evaluate whether the on-kill status effect provides enough combat leverage to justify the face slot.
