Strange Marble occupies the same design space as Vibrating Skull and Fly Larva — each applies a different status on hit, making your choice depend on which debuff fits your build. Useful in attack-heavy setups that want automatic debuff pressure without spending ability charges.

The "strange" descriptor hints at an unusual or unpredictable status — potentially a randomized debuff or a less common effect like Confusion or a unique proc. If the status is random per activation, Strange Marble's value becomes more variance-reliant than the fixed-effect alternatives. However, a random debuff applied constantly still adds cumulative pressure over the course of a fight.

Strange Marble competes directly with Vibrating Skull and Fly Larva for the on-hit status trinket slot — compare which status effect each applies and pick the one that synergizes best with your current build. In builds that want multiple on-hit statuses simultaneously, running two or three AddStatusToBasicAttack trinkets at once can layer different debuffs on the same target with each attack, which then benefit from any AmplifyStatus sources in the build.
