Tool Box

An uncommon trinket that grants immunity to both the Brittle and Fragile status conditions (SetBrittleImmune, SetFragileImmune) and passively adds a self-applied status to your weapons (AddSelfStatusToWeapons). Tool Box is particularly valuable against enemies or encounters that apply equipment-breaking debuffs, while the weapon self-status adds an interesting offensive dimension on top of its defensive protection.

Brittle and Fragile make weapons and armor more likely to break when hit, which can be devastating if you rely on rare gear. Immunity to both conditions is a targeted counter to builds or biomes that exploit equipment fragility. The AddSelfStatusToWeapons passive is a bonus on top — it buffs your weapon each time you use it, potentially stacking damage or crit bonuses over the course of a fight.

Most valuable in runs where you've found a powerful weapon you can't afford to lose. Even outside of Brittle/Fragile encounters, the self-status weapon buff provides consistent offensive value. Pairs well with the Scrapper's set if you want to lean into item-breaking mechanics while simultaneously preventing your own weapons from breaking. A solid pick in any build that relies on a specific weapon to carry damage output.
