Tractor Beam

The Tractor Beam is an uncommon weapon in the Space set that pulls any unit within 3 tiles all the way to an adjacent position, requiring line of sight. Non-solid pickups like coins and food are collected immediately rather than pulled. When used diagonally, the target only moves to the nearest diagonal tile rather than fully adjacent, which limits flexibility in some positioning scenarios.

Compared to the Meat Hook — which pulls from up to 10 tiles with no line-of-sight requirement — the Tractor Beam has a shorter range but can grab pickups directly and doesn't rely on finding a rare item. It's a solid repositioning tool for cats that want enemies in melee range without moving themselves, and the pickup collection side use is a nice bonus.
