Internal engine status effect. This is the status applied to the clone spawned by the Twin elite buff. When an elite enemy has the Twin modifier, it creates a duplicate of itself at the start of combat. The clone receives the Sub Twin status, which marks it as the spawned copy rather than the original.
Sub Twin clones are typically weaker than the original elite, with reduced stats, but still pose a significant additional threat by doubling the enemy's action economy. The clone uses the same abilities as the original, so anything dangerous about the elite is also dangerous about its copy. In crowded encounters, the extra enemy body also blocks movement and creates positional complications.
Prioritize eliminating the Sub Twin clone first in most situations, since it is weaker and removing it quickly restores normal action economy. Area-of-effect abilities can damage both the original and clone simultaneously, making them efficient in Twin encounters. The boss-specific variant, Elite Buff: Sub Twin (Boss), governs clones spawned by Twin bosses and may produce stronger duplicates.
