Empty Mind
Spells are disabled. Whenever it gets a kill, it takes an extra turn.
Empty Mind is a unique buff that disables all spell casting but grants an extra turn whenever the unit kills an enemy. This creates a pure melee playstyle where the unit relies entirely on basic attacks and movement, sacrificing spellcasting versatility for the potential of chain-killing through extra turns. Each kill generates one additional turn, and multiple kills can chain into extended action sequences.
Empty Mind is a battle-long effect that persists for the entire combat encounter. The kill-for-turns mechanic rewards aggressive play and high damage output, as each kill extends the unit's turn sequence. In encounters with many weak enemies, Empty Mind can generate multiple consecutive turns, allowing the unit to clear large groups in a single chain. Against tough enemies that take multiple hits to kill, the buff is less effective since kills are harder to achieve.
Builds focused on Empty Mind prioritize Strength, Damage Up, Extra Attacks, and movement to maximize kill potential on each turn. Serrated Claws and other on-hit effects gain extra value because the additional turns provide more attack opportunities. Empty Mind pairs poorly with Intelligence or Charisma investment since spells are disabled. The buff is best suited for dedicated melee fighters with high damage output and enough movement to reach multiple targets in sequence.
