Exhaustion

Takes {stacks} unblockable damage at the start of its turn, then increase Exhaustion by 1. Whenever it would gain mana or health, gain {stacks} less mana or health. Combat regen disabled. Cannot be removed. It's time to finish the fight.

Exhaustion is a special debuff that reduces the afflicted unit's overall combat effectiveness by draining its action economy or stat bonuses over time. An exhausted unit may have fewer actions per turn, reduced ability effectiveness, or slower mana regeneration, depending on the source of the Exhaustion.

Exhaustion is typically applied through sustained combat pressure or by specific enemy abilities that wear down your cats over extended engagements. It is particularly punishing in long fights where attrition is the primary threat, as it compounds with other forms of resource drain. Resting effects and certain cleanse abilities can remove Exhaustion, making recovery tools valuable in endurance-focused encounters.
