Fear

Moves as far away from enemies as it can at the start of its turn.

Fear is a control debuff that causes the afflicted unit to flee from threats or act erratically, potentially wasting its turn moving away from enemies instead of attacking. Fear effectively removes a unit's ability to be positioned offensively, as it will prioritize running over fighting.

Fear has interesting interactions with certain disorders. The Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder causes Fear to trigger when the cat takes damage, but also grants +2 damage while Fear is active, creating a risk-reward loop. The Cowardly disorder makes cats more susceptible to Fear effects. Fear is applied by certain dark, psychic, and horror-themed enemies, and is particularly common in encounters with bosses that use intimidation mechanics.
