Status Effect
Scrambled
Abilities are scrambled, temporarily.
Scrambled is a disruptive debuff exclusive to player-controlled cats that temporarily replaces all spells with random spells. The original spells are unavailable until Scrambled wears off, forcing the player to work with an unpredictable set of abilities. This can be either devastating or serendipitous depending on the random spell selection.
Scrambled is temporary and restores the original spell loadout when it expires. During the scrambled period, the random spells may include powerful abilities the cat would not normally access. However, losing carefully chosen build-specific spells is generally a significant disadvantage, especially for builds that rely on spell synergies.
Scrambled only affects player cats, not enemy units. When scrambled, relying on basic attacks while evaluating the random spells for anything useful is the best approach. Builds with strong basic attacks are more resilient to Scrambled, as their core damage output does not depend on spell access.
