Stealth
50% Dodge Chance. Lose Stealth when you get hit or use your basic attack.
Stealth is a defensive buff that grants 50% Dodge Chance, making the stealthy unit evade half of all incoming attacks on average. The standard Stealth variant is lost when the unit takes a hit, meaning one successful attack through the dodge chance ends the effect. This creates a high-risk, high-reward defensive state where the unit is very hard to hit but loses protection the moment an attack lands.
There is an item-based variant of Stealth that is lost when the unit uses a basic attack instead of when hit. This variant allows the stealthy unit to absorb hits while maintaining Stealth, but prevents offensive action without breaking cover. The two variants create different tactical situations: the standard version rewards avoiding damage, while the item version rewards careful spell use (spells do not break this variant) over basic attacks.
Stealth is particularly effective for positioning and setup turns, allowing a unit to move into dangerous positions without being reliably targeted. The 50% Dodge Chance stacks with other dodge sources, potentially making the unit nearly unhittable for its duration. Rogue and assassin-style builds benefit heavily from Stealth, using it to get into position for high-damage attacks. Against stealthed enemies, area-of-effect attacks and multi-hit abilities increase the chances of landing at least one hit to break the Stealth.
