Chungus

Chungus is a mysterious disorder whose in-game description text has not yet been fully implemented (the effect field currently displays a raw internal string). Based on the name and its presence in the disorder pool, Chungus likely causes a dramatic physical transformation in the affected cat, possibly related to extreme size increase. It is a heritable disorder, meaning kittens born to a Chungus parent may inherit this condition through breeding.

As with most disorders, Chungus can be acquired through various means including random events, breeding with an affected parent, or using a Disorder Syringe obtained from the Organ Grinder NPC. Since cats can only hold two disorders at a time, gaining Chungus when you already have two will replace one of the existing ones. Removal is difficult and typically requires specific events or a high Health stat in the nursery overnight.

Until the effect text is properly localized in a future update, the exact mechanical impact of Chungus remains unconfirmed. Players who encounter this disorder should experiment to determine its actual stat changes and combat effects. Given its placeholder status, it may be wise to replace it with a more predictable disorder unless testing reveals a hidden benefit worth building around.
