Lazy
A negative nature that reduces activity and action frequency
Lazy is a negative nature disorder that reduces the cat's activity and action frequency. The reduced action rate means the cat may skip turns, act less often, or perform fewer actions per turn than normal. This makes the cat a less reliable contributor in combat, spending some of its time idle instead of fighting.
Lazy is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. The reduced action rate is a straightforward combat penalty that affects all builds equally, since every cat benefits from acting as often as possible. Unlike more complex disorders, Lazy simply makes the cat do less.
Lazy is a purely negative disorder with no upside and should be replaced whenever possible. Every turn the cat wastes being lazy is a lost opportunity for damage, healing, or support. The disorder is especially problematic on cats in critical combat roles. Any other disorder, even a mildly negative one with some compensating benefit, would be preferable. If stuck with Lazy, make the turns you do get count by using high-impact abilities.
