Resonant causes the elite enemy to gain +1 All Stats Up and heal 1 health every time any enemy (your cat) casts a spell. The enemy has a purple-tinted glow. This means every spell your team casts passively buffs the Resonant elite, making it progressively stronger and harder to kill the more abilities you use. All Stats Up increases every stat by 1 per stack, so after several spell casts, the Resonant elite becomes significantly more dangerous across the board.
Resonant is devastating against spell-heavy teams. Mages, Druids, Psychics, and other caster classes that rely on frequent ability usage will inadvertently power up the Resonant elite with every cast. After 5-6 spells, the elite has +5 to all stats and has healed several points, making it a dramatically stronger version of its base form. Resonant combined with high base health creates an enemy that grows faster than your team can damage it if you are not careful about spell usage. The healing component also makes attrition strategies less effective.
Minimize unnecessary spell casts when fighting Resonant elites. Use basic attacks and non-spell abilities whenever possible. Concentrate your spell usage into focused burst windows rather than casting freely throughout the fight. If your team is heavily spell-dependent, prioritize killing the Resonant elite before it accumulates too many All Stats Up stacks. Physical damage dealers like the Berserker, Brawler, or Tank that rely on basic attacks and physical abilities are naturally strong against Resonant since their actions do not trigger the buff. Kill it early before it snowballs.
