Beefy Leech

The Beefy Leech is a powered-up familiar variant of the standard Leech, summoned by the upgraded Leech Mother passive ability available to the Necromancer class. Compared to a regular Leech, it is significantly larger and deals more damage per hit.

Like the base Leech, the Beefy Leech drains health from its targets, potentially returning that health to its summoner or to the party. Its increased size and damage means each feeding yields more value. Once attached to an enemy, it can sustain itself through the fight while simultaneously weakening the target.

If you're running Leech Mother, investing in the upgrade that produces Beefy Leeches is usually worth it. The extra HP and damage output from the beefy variant makes it a genuine combat contributor rather than just a minor annoyance to enemies. Multiple Beefy Leeches in a fight can drain a high-HP enemy down rapidly while keeping your cats healthy.
