C Waggle is a single-tile enemy from The Junkyard with a C-shaped waggling movement that gives the creature its name. It is the baseline form of the Waggle enemy family, sharing the Moon chapter's signature transformation mechanic: rather than killing low-HP units, it converts them into new Waggles that fight for the enemy side. At base size, the C Waggle poses a moderate threat and creates standard-sized Waggle conversions.
The C prefix distinguishes it from standard Waggles while indicating its curved movement pattern. Like all Waggle-type enemies, C Waggle targets familiars and low-health allies first, converting them into full-health Waggles. Converted units retain their original tile footprint, so a C Waggle converting a large familiar creates a correspondingly large Waggle enemy. C Waggles cannot convert other Waggles, putting a natural ceiling on conversion chains.
Treat C Waggle as a high-priority target whenever familiars or wounded cats are present. Even a single conversion can dramatically swing action economy in the enemy's favor. Consider finishing off critically wounded cats yourself rather than risking a C Waggle claiming them. AoE or burst kills are preferable to leaving it alive at low HP, where it still poses a conversion threat for one more turn.
