Skull Ooze

Skull Ooze is a Caves enemy and one of the most equipment-threatening foes in the game. Its ranged attack strikes from two tiles away, deals damage, inflicts Burn 2, and automatically destroys any equipment carried by the target. Sending a cat loaded with gear anywhere near a Skull Ooze risks losing those items permanently. Positioning unequipped cats or exploiting terrain to attack it at long range is the safest approach.
