Ten Tickles is a water-based enemy found in the Caves chapter. It has 14 HP and an extraordinary movement stat of 20, which it uses to teleport through water tiles instantly without triggering movement-based hazards like bear traps. Its attack can hit any tile adjacent to a water square, giving it a flexible reach that scales with how much water terrain is on the battlefield.

Ten Tickles does not leave a corpse on defeat. Its name is a pun on 'tentacles.' When knocked back toward solid ground, it generates new water tiles beneath itself rather than landing on dry terrain, making it effectively impossible to remove from aquatic coverage through displacement. Ice-element weather events freeze water solid and dramatically limit its mobility and attack range, making the environmental context of a fight against it highly variable.

Standing diagonally to water tiles prevents Ten Tickles from reaching you with its attacks. Ice-element abilities can freeze the water it relies on, crippling its mobility mid-fight. Avoid positioning cats directly adjacent to water edges when Ten Tickles is present. It is immune to most terrain-based counterplay, so direct damage from a safe angle is the most reliable approach — it does not have exceptional HP and falls quickly once engaged properly.
