Zombie Kitten

Zombie Kitten is an undead familiar and the smaller cousin of the Zombie Cat. It uses its Feast ability on downed units to grow stronger, gaining +1 Strength and +1 Constitution with each feeding — slowly transforming from a fragile undead kitten into an increasingly dangerous combatant.

The Feast mechanic makes Zombie Kitten a high-upside familiar in fights with many enemies or minibosses. Each kill it participates in or each fallen body it feeds on permanently increases its offensive and defensive stats. In a long fight with multiple enemy waves, a well-fed Zombie Kitten can snowball into a genuinely threatening unit by the end.

To maximize Zombie Kitten's growth, send it after any enemy that is nearly dead and let it land the killing blow so it can immediately feed. Prioritize deploying it in rooms with multiple enemies rather than single-target boss fights where feeding opportunities are limited. A Zombie Kitten that has fed 4-5 times can rival dedicated combat familiars in effectiveness.
