The End

The End is an Act 3 Chapter 3 alternate location set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where civilization has collapsed entirely. Ruined buildings, irradiated craters, and skeletal remains of massive structures paint a grim picture of a world that has already lost. Radiation tiles are the primary environmental hazard, applying stacking radiation damage that persists between encounters if not cleansed, making this one of the few areas where between-fight attrition is a serious concern.

The enemy pool features mutated survivors, scavenger bots, and irradiated abominations that hit hard and can apply a variety of debilitating status effects. Many enemies here have passive radiation auras that damage nearby cats each turn, making melee-heavy teams more difficult to run. Ranged damage dealers and cats with self-healing or cleanse abilities thrive in this environment. There is no single dominant element to exploit, so adaptable team compositions with broad coverage perform better than specialized builds.

The boss of The End is The Mother, a grotesque amalgamation with approximately 450 HP that serves as one of the game's most mechanically demanding fights. The Mother spawns parasitic offspring that latch onto your cats and drain their stats over time, and she can absorb defeated minions to heal herself. The fight becomes a balancing act between dealing damage to The Mother and clearing the parasites before they overwhelm your team. Two house bosses, C-800 and C-1000, can also be encountered here as part of their respective questlines, adding additional endgame challenge for completionists.

The End represents one of the final standard areas before the true endgame. Completing it alongside The Jurassic opens the path toward The Infinite for players seeking the true ending. The equipment and mutations available here tend toward survivability and sustain, reflecting the area's attritional design philosophy.
