The Mother

The Mother is a variant entry for The Mother boss encounter from The End in Act 3. This data entry represents a different phase state or difficulty tier of the arena-consuming boss fight. The Mother's unique spreading mechanic makes her one of the most distinctive boss encounters in Mewgenics, functioning more like a growing organic infection than a traditional combat boss.

The fight becomes a race against time as The Mother's segments fill the arena. Each uncleared segment gains Constitution over time, and any cat caught by a new segment is incapacitated and at risk of being devoured. Managing safe space while dealing damage to the core is the central tension of the encounter.
