The Mother Boss Guide

Overview

The Mother is a multi-phase late-game boss encountered as part of the campaign’s major progression. She appears in three distinct forms across the fight, with HP values of 450 (main form), and smaller secondary phases (10 HP and 5 HP), as well as a connected MotherTumorBig structure (9 HP). This suggests a fight built around managing parasitic or tumour mechanics alongside the main boss.

Phase Structure

Main Form (450 HP)

The primary encounter. At this scale The Mother is one of the highest-HP standard fights in the game. Attrition is the biggest danger: without a healer sustaining your party across many rounds, you will exhaust your cats before she falls.

Secondary Phases (10 HP and 5 HP forms)

The lower-HP forms likely represent fragile secondary targets that appear mid-fight, either as spawn mechanics or phase transitions. They have low HP but their attacks may carry dangerous debuffs. Kill them quickly when they appear to prevent status stacking.

MotherTumorBig (9 HP)

A connected tumour structure that must be managed during the fight. Whether it heals The Mother, blocks your path, or spawns adds is still being verified. Destroy it when it appears.

Strategy

Bring a full party with a dedicated healer and tank. The multi-phase nature of this fight means you need consistent HP throughout rather than front-loaded burst. Stack DoT effects early for passive damage accumulation during long phases.

Target secondary spawns immediately when they appear: ignoring them while their mechanics resolve will compound the pressure on your party. Return to main damage on The Mother whenever the board is clean.
