The Jurassic

The Jurassic is an Act 3 Chapter 3 location that drops your cats into a lush prehistoric jungle teeming with dinosaurs. Towering ferns, volcanic vents, and primordial swamps fill the landscape, creating a visually striking but mechanically dangerous area. Terrain hazards include tar pits that immobilize cats, volcanic vents that deal periodic fire damage, and dense foliage tiles that block line of sight for ranged abilities.

The enemy pool is almost entirely composed of dinosaur-type creatures ranging from small, fast raptors that attack in packs to heavily armored herbivores that absorb enormous amounts of damage. Raptor enemies are particularly dangerous because they get bonus actions when attacking together, allowing them to chain multiple hits on a single cat in one turn. The larger dinosaurs hit like trucks but telegraph their attacks, giving you a turn to reposition. Bringing a mix of single-target burst for the big targets and AoE for the raptor packs gives the best results.

The boss of The Jurassic is Dreadnoughtus, a towering sauropod with approximately 550 HP that is one of the highest-HP bosses in the game. Dreadnoughtus uses devastating tail sweeps and stomp attacks that cover huge areas of the battlefield. Its sheer size means it occupies multiple tiles, and it can crush terrain features by walking over them. The fight demands sustained DPS over many rounds while dodging its predictable but catastrophically powerful attacks. Patience and healing sustain are more important here than burst damage.

Reaching The Jurassic involves a quest chain centered around the Receiver Antenna, a device that must be assembled from components found across multiple Act 3 areas. This makes it one of the later locations most players will access. The rewards for completing The Jurassic include some of the strongest physical-damage equipment in the game and progression toward the true ending path.
