Orange Fetin

Orange Fetin is one of three special Fetin disorders obtained exclusively through the Volcano event in The Jurassic. When you sacrifice a cat at the volcano and get a rare critical success, the cat survives and receives a random Fetin. Orange Fetin's upside grants 3 mana and 2 HP healing every time the afflicted cat kills an enemy, making it a powerful sustain tool for aggressive damage-dealing builds. The downside, shared by all Fetins, is a 10% chance each turn for the cat to be AI-controlled instead of player-controlled.

The AI control chance scales heavily with Luck. At the neutral baseline of 5 Luck, the chance is exactly 10%. Stacking Luck to 15 drops it to just 1%, making the downside nearly negligible. Conversely, low Luck cats suffer much more: at -7 Luck the chance rises to about 20%, and at deeply negative Luck values it can exceed 60%. When the AI takes over, it tends to prioritize nearby enemies with basic attacks, disregards on-contact effects like Thorns and Poisonous, ignores Counter Attack and Backflip on targets, and may attack downed allies if they're in the path to an enemy. Keeping Luck reasonably high is the key to making any Fetin manageable.

Orange Fetin is the best choice for frontline brawlers and AoE nukers who rack up kills consistently. The 3 mana per kill lets you keep casting abilities without running dry, while the 2 HP heal provides passive survivability that reduces your reliance on dedicated healing. It shines in fights with many smaller enemies where kills come frequently, but offers less value against single-target boss encounters where kills are rare. Unlike the other Fetins, Orange Fetin's benefit scales with how many enemies you personally finish off, so pair it with high-damage cats that secure kills rather than support cats that chip away. Fetin disorders are classified as Special Disorders, excluded from all normal disorder pools, so the only way to obtain one is through the Volcano sacrifice.
