Ancestor Set
Spawn a spectral copy of yourself when you die. The copy dies at the end of its turn.
The Ancestor Set creates a full spectral clone of yourself when you die, getting one final turn before the copy fades. Unlike the Necromancer Set (which triggers when downed), the Ancestor Set activates on death, meaning you get this last action even if no ally can revive you. Combined with high stats, the ancestor copy can deal tremendous damage or apply critical debuffs in its single turn.
The Ancestor Set is composed of three bone-and-spirit-themed pieces: Ancestor's Skull (Head), Ancestor's Bones (Neck), and Ancestor's Jaw (Face). All three slots are occupied by set pieces, meaning you need to commit your full head/neck/face loadout to activate the bonus. The spectral copy spawned on death mirrors your character's full stat profile and can take actions for one turn before disappearing.
The Ancestor Set rewards investment in high-damage or high-utility character builds. The death-trigger copy is only as valuable as the character wearing the set, so building strong offensive stats maximizes what the ancestor can accomplish in its single turn. Classes with powerful single-hit abilities — like Warriors or high-Strength brawlers — get the most value from the copy's final action. Compare to the Necromancer Set: Ancestor fires on death (not just being downed), making it more reliable as a last resort.
