Bloody Bear Traps

Bloody Bear Traps is a very rare trap weapon that places blood-coated jaw traps on the ground. Enemies who step on them take damage and are Immobilized with a Bleed effect, making them easy prey for follow-up attacks.

Bear Traps placed in enemy movement paths force enemies to either spring the trap or go around, giving your cats time to reposition or attack uncontested. The blood coating ensures that any trapped enemy starts Bleeding immediately, compounding the damage from being held in place. Immobilized enemies can't retaliate, creating safe windows for your damage dealers.

Bloody Bear Traps reward tactical play and careful pre-fight placement. They're most effective on cats who can set traps before enemies reach them, using corridors and chokepoints to guarantee trigger. Combine them with other Bleed weapons so trapped enemies who are bleeding take maximum damage from the Immobilize window. A natural fit for trap-focused Ranger or Rogue-style builds.
