Full post-battle healing means you can let this cat soak more damage during fights without worrying about long-term attrition. It removes the need to carry healing consumables for that slot and frees up party resource budget for other purposes. The Heat Wave exception is the main caveat — if an enemy or environmental effect inflicts Heat Wave and it persists past the battle end, Bone Marrow doesn't trigger.
