Bottles of Blood

Bottles of Blood is a rare weapon or consumable that unleashes stored blood on enemies, applying Bleed or a Blood-themed status effect. The crimson payload makes it both a damage tool and a way to paint the battlefield red with debuffs.

Blood-based items in Mewgenics often trigger Bleed status, dealing ongoing damage as the afflicted enemy loses HP each turn. Splash or area versions of blood attacks can apply Bleed to multiple enemies if the bottles break across a group. The Blood Bucket and similar blood items in the same family may have stacking interactions that amplify the Bleed damage.

Bottles of Blood fits into Bleed-focused compositions alongside other blood or cut-themed items like Bloody Knife, Bloody Spikes, and Blood Bucket. Cats with abilities that trigger on Bleeding enemies, or that deal bonus damage to targets below certain HP thresholds, synergize especially well. The item is most effective when combined with other Bleed sources to keep enemies bleeding continuously.
