Brown Belt

An intermediate martial arts rank, tied around the face. DamageUp provides a flat damage bonus to all attacks, and StatusIfUnusedActPoints applies a status effect at end of turn if any action points were left over. Rewards deliberate, efficient play — units who consistently end their turn with remaining AP generate free status procs on top of their increased damage. Better than the White Belt, and a stepping stone toward the Black Belt.
DamageUp applies to all outgoing damage sources on the wearer. StatusIfUnusedActPoints checks at the end of the wearer's turn whether they had any action points remaining — if they did, it fires a status effect. Builds that complete their full action rotation in fewer AP than available trigger this free proc every turn. High-AP builds that cast one ability per turn and finish early benefit most from the consistent end-of-turn status.
Brown Belt is best on builds that naturally don't use all their action points each turn — high-AP builds with one or two expensive abilities, or units that save AP for reaction moves. The DamageUp is universally useful, making it a solid face item even when the status condition isn't reliably triggered. Upgrade to Black Belt when available for block-and-counter mechanics, or keep Brown Belt if your build reliably triggers the unused-AP proc.
