Cactus Hat

An uncommon head armor from The Desert, part of the Cactus set. Provides +3 Thorns and is Brittle. When it breaks, StatusOnBreak heals 10 HP.

Thorns activates on any physical hit against you, dealing the reflect value back to the attacker. Head slot Thorns is particularly impactful because the head is frequently targeted. Brittle shortens this item's lifespan in fights, but the 10 HP heal-on-break softens the blow of losing your head armor mid-combat.

Best used when you expect sustained melee pressure — particularly in Desert chapters where physical enemies are common. Wearing all three Cactus pieces stacks Thorns significantly and yields three separate heal-on-break procs as the set gradually wears down over a run.
