An uncommon active trinket that triggers the tk_CarvingKnife ability, dealing a cutting attack that likely applies Bleed or a similar physical debuff. Part of the blade-themed trinket group alongside Razor Blade — Carving Knife is the lower rarity option with fewer or weaker charges. A reliable early-run pick for Bleed builds before rarer cutting trinkets become available.

At uncommon rarity, Carving Knife appears earlier and more frequently than Razor Blade, making it a practical Bleed-seeder for the first half of a run. The durability charges are limited so use them strategically — applying initial Bleed stacks before weapon attacks compound the DoT further is the most efficient pattern. Consider upgrading to Razor Blade when available, or keep both if they apply different debuffs.

Works alongside Snaggle Tooth and Paper Hat for a multi-source Bleed build. Nightshade's AmplifyStatus makes each Bleed stack more punishing. If your current Bleed application is already adequate from other sources, skip Carving Knife and wait for rarer offensive trinkets — but early in a run it fills the Bleed-starter role reliably.
