Energy Transmitter

A face armor item from the Transmitter set (listed as trinket in CMS) that sacrifices -4 Speed from the wearer to grant every other ally +2 Speed. Also grants the Metal status to the wearer, making them electrically conductive — relevant for any lightning or electricity interactions on the map. Best equipped on a cat that contributes in non-mobility ways: a healer, a tank, or a slow heavy hitter who can spare the speed loss while the rest of the party accelerates.

The net effect across a 4-cat party is: one cat loses 4 Speed, three cats gain 2 Speed each for a net party Speed gain of +2 (net total: +6-4=+2). The value scales with party size — with two allies receiving +2, it's a straight +0 net change but redistributed. The Metal status on the wearer is a consistent vulnerability to lightning that persists regardless of enemy composition.

Part of the Transmitter set alongside Damage Transmitter (-2 Damage to self, +1 Damage to all allies) and Speed Transmitter. The set's philosophy is self-sacrifice for party benefit. A cat dedicated to wearing all Transmitter set pieces takes personal penalties across Speed and Damage but provides meaningful party-wide stat boosts that outpace the personal loss in a full party.
