Eye of Ra

The ancient solar eye of Egyptian myth, worn on the face. AddStatusToBasicAttack applies a status effect on every basic strike, while RevengeDamage deals additional damage back to anyone who attacks the wearer. The result is a face slot that contributes offensively in both directions — when attacking and when being attacked — making the wearer a two-way threat in melee range.

AddStatusToBasicAttack fires on every basic strike, consistently building status stacks on the target through normal attacks. RevengeDamage fires each time the wearer is hit, dealing bonus damage back to the attacker. Together they create a continuous offensive output from both attack and defense phases of each round. Unlike KineticSpikes which only retaliates in melee, RevengeDamage likely applies from any damage source.

Eye of Ra is strong for melee fighters who attack often and expect to absorb hits in return — every exchange becomes a positive trade through status delivery and revenge damage. Pairs with Cool Rocks for double on-attack status stacking from multiple face item passives. Particularly effective against multi-hit enemies where RevengeDamage procs many times per round. One of the strongest balanced melee face items for builds that want both offensive triggers simultaneously.
