AddStatusToBasicAttack applies a status effect to the target on every basic attack, transforming what might otherwise be a low-priority action into consistent debuff pressure. This works independently of abilities, so basic attacks become meaningful even when ability resources are depleted. StatusOnDie fires once on the wearer's death, triggering one last status effect on nearby enemies or in an area. The SPD-1 penalty delays initiative slightly but rarely matters given the item's overall value.

Cool Rocks are an excellent all-rounder face item for melee builds that land frequent basic attacks and want to layer debuffs passively. The CHA+2 makes it competitive for social builds too. Pairs with Gemstone Bones or Barbed Scrap for builds focused on reactive and active status stacking through attack. One of the better face items at its rarity tier for consistent melee DPS.
