Feathered Wing

Part of the Feathered item set and exclusive to the Bird item pool, Feathered Wing is a wide wind-element melee weapon with 20 uses. It deals only 1 damage but applies Knockback 3 in a wide arc, making it a crowd control tool for repositioning multiple enemies at once. The broad attack angle is the key feature — you can push back a whole cluster of enemies simultaneously. Good for creating space and works well alongside other Feathered set pieces.

The wide arc means the Feathered Wing hits a wider lateral range than standard melee weapons, catching enemies on diagonal or side positions that a standard attack would miss. Knockback 3 is a strong displacement effect, capable of pushing enemies into walls, hazards, or out of threatening positions. The wind element may interact with specific wind-based mechanics or resistances in certain encounters.

Best used on builds focused on controlling space rather than raw damage — particularly effective for keeping melee-heavy enemy groups from closing in. The 20 uses give it good longevity for a crowd control weapon, allowing frequent use throughout a run. Combine with Feather Darts for full Feathered set coverage: the Wing handles adjacent crowd control while the Darts apply ranged pressure.
