A spectral necklace that grants its wearer the Eternal status — meaning death is no longer permanent. A cat equipped with Lost Soul will return after being killed, making it one of the most powerful survival items in the game. This effectively removes the greatest risk of a run for the equipped cat, making it a priority upgrade for key damage dealers or fragile specialists. Pair it with a cat that already benefits from high investment to get maximum value from the guaranteed second chance.

The Eternal passive is an unconditional resurrection — unlike ChanceToRevive (Glowing Pelt) which is probabilistic, Eternal guarantees revival every time. This means the wearer effectively has infinite lives in a single run, as long as they keep getting equipped with Lost Soul. The revival likely restores the character to some HP threshold after death, allowing them to continue fighting. No stat penalty accompanies this passive, making it purely additive.

Always equip this on your most critical character — the one whose death would most compromise the run. Strong on glass cannon builds that have high damage output but die easily, since it gives them the freedom to take risks without permanent consequence. As a very_rare item, it may be limited in availability. If you have both Lost Soul and Glowing Pelt (ChanceToRevive + regen), Lost Soul on the most important character and Glowing Pelt on the second most important is an optimal split.
