Lucky Penny
Common
A common trinket that grants +1 LCK. Luck affects critical hit frequency, favorable random rolls, and loot quality, making Lucky Penny broadly useful across any build without being essential to any. As a common, it's an easy early pickup and worth holding if LCK is relevant to your run — particularly potent when multiplied by the Copycat set.
The Luck stat in Mewgenics operates across multiple systems simultaneously — a single +1 LCK from Lucky Penny slightly improves every luck-adjacent roll in the game. While the per-point gain is small, stacking Lucky Penny with other LCK sources (Human Toe, Golden Tooth, Rat Tail) creates a meaningful cumulative bonus. Luck also affects loot pool quality in some runs, making it a passive long-term investment.
Lucky Penny is worth keeping in dedicated LCK builds, in runs where you're wearing the Copycat set (which doubles trinket passives, turning +1 LCK into +2), or whenever no better common trinket has appeared. It's one of the lowest-floor commons — its value scales entirely with how much your build cares about Luck. Replace it immediately when any uncommon or rare trinket becomes available, unless you're actively running a Luck-stacking build.
